We currently have 28 classes of mixed ability pupils across the 7 year groups, although setting in groups for some subjects will occur from Year 5.

In addition to the classrooms at present there are intervention teaching rooms, a media suite, a theatre and a library. There is also a separate dining room with a kitchen and a sensory garden. Some of the classrooms are grouped around the 3 halls, which are used for assemblies, P.E., drama and other activities. We also have an outdoor wildlife and forest school area, as well as a sports field including a football pitch and a MUGA (multi-use games area).

Celebration Assemblies

We hold regular celebration assemblies where individual pupils are recognised for their achievements by being awarded a merit certificate.

Parents/carers of pupils receiving awards will be notified beforehand by email and are welcome to join us.

Our celebration assemblies are at the following times:

Reception - Thursdays 9.00am
Year 1 and 2 - Thursdays 2.50pm
Year 3 and 4 - Tuesdays 9.00am
Year 5 and 6 - Tuesdays 2.50pm

Please note that due to other events taking place in school, occasionally the timings/days of our celebration assemblies may change.  Please check the calendar on our website, with the office or a member of staff before making the journey to come and join us.

Helping In School

Parents, grandparents and members of the community are all invited to volunteer to help in the classroom, or to help in school generally (subject to a DBS check if this support is regular).
This is invaluable to both the staff and children and also a chance for parents and others to be involved in the life and work of the school.
When helping in school, all of our visitors must sign in via the office at the main reception area.
